1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Steepworks and related applications, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Steepworks builds and operates each customer's application and licenses it as an operated service, with governed AI, customer-facing tools, and managed operations. The application source, platform substrate, and runtime are Steepworks intellectual property; the software is licensed, never sold.

3. User Accounts

Provide accurate account details, maintain account security, and notify us promptly of unauthorized access or security issues.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, connected systems, agents, integrations, or outputs.

5. Content and Intellectual Property

Your domain data, your domain name and brand, your content, and your customer relationships are yours absolutely, with full-fidelity export in open formats available on demand. The application source, platform substrate, runtime, product interfaces, and Steepworks branding are Steepworks intellectual property. Steepworks retains and reuses patterns, concepts, techniques, and generic capabilities across engagements; the domain-specific expression built for your business remains exclusive to you.

6. Data Freedom and Continuity

You can export your data any day, in open formats, without renegotiation. If Steepworks winds down or materially fails its operating obligations, escrowed source and a transition plan release to you. Continuity protects you against Steepworks' failure — never against its success.

7. AI-Assisted Features

AI-generated suggestions and actions may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and maintaining appropriate human approval for legal, financial, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions.

8. Subscriptions and Engagements

Product subscriptions follow the plan and billing terms shown at purchase. Engagements are governed by a signed Master Partnership Agreement and the accepted proposals and schedules under it — including scope, exclusions, customer inputs, pricing, and payment schedule — which take precedence over these general terms for their scope.

9. Third-Party Services

Steepworks may connect to hosting, payment, email, data, AI, and other third-party services. Their availability and separate terms may affect connected features.

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

The service is provided as is and does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Engagement-specific commitments are governed by the signed agreement and accepted proposals.
